Great unit .. had trouble with a the mini usb cable straight up but the guys at dark tide sent a new one out the next dsy . Great customer service and great to deal with all round 👍🏻
I’ve had This screen on my boat since January and have had a good chance to play around with it, Linked up to a Garmin 8416 it provides a superior image with better depth in contrast and colour which helps with lure tracking and consistently getting the lure on the fishes nose. They also come with a very handy hard case and silicon screen protector, which are a nice bonus. 10 out of 10 from me, Highly recommended!
I have only managed a few trips so far with this unit in action but absolutely love it. The units packaging is purpose built and offers perfect protection. Very easy to install and the mounting bracket is extremely sturdy and doesn’t flex with a screen of this size. The unit itself is very clear and it’s at that point where any bigger would probably be too big, so for me it’s spot on. I recently used it chasing bream on flats in 1.5m or less. It was crazy to watch fish feeding on bait, something that would be extremely hard to watch in detail on a 12inch screen. Value for money you just can’t go wrong 👌
The screen is epic! I have it fitted on my tinny and linked it to my Garmin GPSMAP 8412. Absolute game changer for live scoping with such a big screen. Highly recommend.
